• Home to the largest salt deposit in the world, Salar de Uyuni

• La Paz is the highest city in the world 

• Shares Lake Titicaca, the highest and largest navigable lake in the world with Peru. 

• The flag’s red represents the blood spilt during the fight for independence, the yellow stands for the country’s mineral deposits and the green symbolises agriculture and fertility. The Bolivian coat of arms sits in the centre and features flags and canons with an Andean condor, the national bird, on top.
